Carolyn Carpenter, MHA, FACHE, was promoted to President of Sentara Norfolk General Hospital effective November 1, 2018. Mrs. Carpenter joined Sentara Healthcare in September, 2017 as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the hospital and quickly demonstrated her capabilities as a seasoned leader who enables clinical excellence and cultivates a high performance culture.
