QuikMedic will expand its partnership with in-home primary care provider WellBe Senior Medical to at least four new states in 2024.
QuikMedic, which provides in-home urgent and other care, will provide 24/7 on-demand services to WellBe Senior Medical patients in Utah and a second market in Oregon, QuikMedic said in a news release Tuesday. Launches in additional states will be announced later.

"We have identified several markets that we will expand into, but we cannot disclose at this time," said Nick McDonough, chief of staff and head of growth strategy for QuikMedic, on Wednesday.
Chicago-based QuikMedic partners with risk-bearing provider groups to offer mobile urgent care and scheduled home care with patient engagement services, comprehensive home visits, social determinants of health screenings, Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set gap closures and drop-in wellness visits. It uses a medical command center to provide triage and dispatch services to its partners.
QuikMedic currently operates in 11 markets in Georgia, Ohio, Illinois, West Virginia and Oregon. The company plans to reach 18 markets across eight states soon, according to the news release, but a timeline for this growth has not been announced.
"Over the last two years, QuikMedic has served as a natural extension to our home-based primary care team through a dedicated workforce and under jointly developed clinical protocols" said Dr. Jeff Kang, CEO of WellBe. "We're quite pleased with the demonstrated outcomes we've shown together thus far, and a natural next step is to continue to build on the trust between our teams and offer QuikMedic services in all the new markets we are growing into."
Kang is also an adviser and co-founder of QuikMedic.
WellBe Senior Medical offers health assessments, care coordination and medication management services for older adults and seeks to prevent unnecessary hospital or emergency department visits, lowering costs for insurers. In March, the Chicago-based company partnered with Excellus BlueCross BlueShield and offers services to about 30,000 of the insurer's Medicare Advantage members in upstate New York
WellBe Senior Medical also offers services in Utah, Oregon, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, West Virginia, Alabama, Georgia and Pennsylvania. In January, WellBe Senior Medical received an unspecified investment from CVS Health Ventures to support future expansions.
