She has a diverse background in healthcare, having worked in managed care, healthcare planning, development and executive recruitment. She has held positions within for-profit and not-for-profit hospitals and physician practice management in Washington, D.C.; New York; and Boston. 
 
Before joining AMN Healthcare, Carmen worked with Leaders for Today as the vice president of business development and with Phillips DiPisa, a national C-suite executive search firm, for 14 years. Her primary focus in this role was on physician, CEO and mid-management interim and permanent leadership recruitment. Her strong background in practice management stems from her work with Caritas Christi Health Care, and Caritas Medical Group in Boston, Massachusetts. In addition to Caritas Medical Group, Carmen held management positions at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Washington Radiology Associates, and the Parkway Hospital in Forest Hills, New York.

Roger D. Mitty, MD, MBA, is the president and Chief Operating Officer of Care New England Medical Group, a 650+ multispecialty clinician group that is part of Care New England, the second largest health system in Rhode Island. Dr. Mitty has held several roles within Steward Health Care over the past 15 years, including president of St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center of Boston, director of the primary care and specialty service line for Steward Medical Group, vice president of Steward Health Care Network in Florida and Chief Physician Executive for Steward Medical Group, based in Dallas. He holds an MBA from The Isenberg School of Business at the University of Massachusetts. He came to Care New England Medical Group in 2023.
