Like many organizations, Geisinger is working hard to resume non-COVID operations. But since the early stages of the pandemic, leaders at the large integrated delivery system based in Danville, Pa., have been reviewing structural changes they can make across the enterprise. Karen Murphy, executive vice president and chief innovation officer at Geisinger, believes that organizations must use these unprecedented times to embrace true disruption and fundamentally change how the industry is organized.
