This webinar will focus on fundamental concerns and challenges facing emergency medicine and hospital medicine programs with hospital-employed providers, including additional insight from Dr. Scott Ellner, an executive at Centura Health.

The current reimbursement environment is forcing hospital administrators to closely evaluate provider performance and productivity, along with program performance. So much so, they’re reexamining insourcing vs. outsourcing, cost effectiveness, revenue growth, and overall patient satisfaction. How do you know if your current model is performing optimally?

Join this webinar to learn best practices for:

    • Leadership/communication
    • Financial alignment
    • Reporting and practice management tools

    Panelists:

Scott Ellner, DO, MPH, MHCM, FACS
    Group President for Physician Alignment
    Centura Health

Scott Ellner, DO, MPH, MHCM, FACS serves as Group President for Physician Alignment at Centura Health, providing leadership to Centura Health Physician Group, Colorado Health Neighborhoods, a network of 3600 physicians in Colorado and western Kansas. Prior to serving in this role, Dr. Ellner served as the CEO of Centura Health Physician Group, supporting the multi-specialty group in providing whole-person care and building flourishing communities.

Prior to Centura Health, he helped Saint Francis Medical Group, a 400-provider multi-specialty practice in Connecticut, to grow and evolve amid the changing reimbursement and regulatory environment as its President and Vice Chairman, Surgical Service Line. He has been responsible for many widely admired patient safety initiatives, and speaks nationally and internationally on surgical quality, value-based health care delivery and physician leadership.

With a degree in Health Care Management from the T. H. Chan Harvard School of Public Health, Dr. Ellner’s emphasis has been on change management, conflict resolution, value-based reimbursement models and competitive strategy for large, employed physician groups.
