UnitedHealth Group has tapped Tim Noel to be CEO of UnitedHealthcare, the company announced Thursday.
The appointment of a new leader for the insurance subsidiary comes seven weeks after the fatal shooting of Brian Thompson ahead of a company event in New York last month. Thompson had been UnitedHealthcare CEO since 2021.
