Physician staffing company Envision Healthcare said its chief financial officer and chief information officer will leave the company in January.
J. Michael Bruff was named to succeed Henry Howe as CFO, effective immediately, and Howe will serve as a senior advisor to the executive team until January. The private equity-backed company said Monday it has started its search to replace Megan Barney, chief information officer.

The announcement comes six months after Envision named Jason Owen as CEO.
Bruff previously served as CFO of ChenMed, a senior-focused primary care company. He also worked as CFO at Lifestance Health and Varian Medical Systems.
Envision did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in May 2023, and reached a restructuring agreement in November.
In July, Envision said it would exit California following a lawsuit regarding the legality of its staffing program in the state. At the time, the company denied the lawsuit was the reason for its departure from the California.
