Kendall Hagood is no longer president of home health provider Contessa Health, the company confirmed Monday.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Robert Moskowitz has been named acting president, a Contessa Health spokesperson said.

Hagood recently left the Nashville, Tennessee-based company to pursue another opportunity, according to the spokesperson who did not disclose the timing or circumstances of her departure.
Hagood could not be reached for comment.
She began her tenure with Contessa Health in 2016 as the company’s director of market operations and served in a number of roles until her appointment as president in 2023.
Contessa Health, a division of Amedisys, has partnerships with nine health systems in eight states to provide a number of home-based services, including hospice, palliative care, skilled nursing and hospital-at-home.
