Nominations are open for Modern Healthcare’s annual 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare awards and recognition program.
Entries are welcome from all health industry sectors, including hospitals, health systems, providers, insurers, associations, government agencies, investment firms, technology companies, vendors, academia, suppliers and advocacy organizations.
The deadline for nominations is Oct. 7.
How will the nominations be judged?
Nominations will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
-Specific actions the nominee has taken in the past year to help the organization meet clinical, operational and financial goals, and the measurable results that were achieved.
-Specific steps the nominee has taken in the past year to improve the organization’s culture, such as through workforce retention or employee development programs, and the measurable results that were achieved.
-Specific actions the nominee has taken in the past year outside of the organization to be a leading voice in the industry, including efforts to effect change at a local or national level that benefit patients and communities.
How will the final list be determined?
The selection and ranking of the 100 Most Influential People will be determined by the senior editors of Modern Healthcare.
Can an individual make the list more than once?
Yes, honorees from previous years can be selected again if they are nominated for the current year’s program.
Can more than one individual from the same organization make the list?
Yes. Each must be submitted as a separate nomination.
Is there a fee for each nomination?
Yes. The nomination fee is $199 per entry. Payment does not guarantee selection as an honoree.
When will honorees be notified?
Modern Healthcare will notify the honorees the week of Nov. 11. The list of the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare will be published online Dec. 9 and in the December issue of MH magazine.
Will nominees who are not selected be notified?
No.
