The National Association for Healthcare Quality® (NAHQ) has announced the addition of Richard J. Bobos as senior vice president of NAHQ’s organizational workforce solutions (OWS), reporting to NAHQ CEO Stephanie Mercado. Bobos will work with healthcare leaders and executives in quality settings across the continuum of care, assisting the strategic growth trajectory of NAHQ’s Workforce Accelerator®, Team Training and NAHQ’s quality and safety Benchmarking Program.

Since 2020, NAHQ has doubled its staff in support of its mission to prepare a coordinated, competent workforce to lead and advance healthcare quality. The senior vice president of OWS will be responsible for demonstrating that NAHQ has THE WAY for implementing the NAHQ competency wheel to build quality teams that can address the major challenges healthcare executives face today.
