Michael Blea has been appointed Chief Growth Officer of SCAN Health Plan. Blea has more than 25 years of experience in the health insurance industry and has a proven track record of scaling distribution channels. He was VP & General Manager for Golden Outlook, where he was instrumental in making Affirm, SCAN’s plan for LGBTQ+ older adults, one of the most successful product launches in the organization’s history.

As Chief Growth Officer, Michael Blea is responsible for refreshing SCAN’s Medicare sales channels across the organization’s expanding service areas. Current territories include 20 counties across four states: California, Arizona, Nevada and Texas.
