SCAN Group, whose holdings include SCAN Health Plan, one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit Medicare Advantage plans, has appointed Kevin Kroeker as General Counsel. Kroeker comes to SCAN from Crowell & Moring, where he was a partner and former co-chair of the firm’s Health Care Group, of which SCAN is a client. Kroeker has more than 35 years of experience advising healthcare organizations on state and federal regulatory issues and has assisted clients in multi-billion dollar transactions and other significant deals throughout his career. In his new role, Kroeker will lead SCAN’s legal, compliance and enterprise risk management functions as the organization expands geographically, grows its portfolio of care offerings and brings innovations to the senior care market.
