Welcome Health, a risk-bearing advanced primary care delivery organization specializing in care for seniors has named Jay Bakshi as Chief Growth Officer. Jay is responsible for leading the overall profitable growth of Welcome Health including market expansion, payer business development & contracting, account management and patient acquisition/retention. Jay was most recently at Healthfirst, one of New York’s largest health insurance plans where he collaborated closely with product and functional leaders to grow, manage and optimize seven distinct government businesses comprising 1.5 million insured lives and generating nearly $14 billion in gross annual premium revenue. Prior to that, Jay held a variety of strategy, growth, finance and analytics leadership roles at several private, public and non-profit government and commercial payers.
