Edward S. Kim, M.D., M.B.A., FACP, FASCO, joins City of Hope as Orange County Physician-in-Chief and Senior Vice President, Vice Physician-in-Chief, City of Hope. An internationally known clinician noted for his immense oncology experience, Dr. Kim is among the country’s foremost experts in molecular prognostication for lung, head, and neck cancers, work that dramatically enhances the ability to detect cancer and effectively treat it with personalized therapies. Named one of America’s top doctors by U.S. News & World Report, Dr. Kim has held senior leadership positions at leading cancer institutions, including Levine Cancer Institute, Atrium Health, and University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He will be instrumental in developing a world-class network of care and visionary cancer campus underway in Irvine, Calif. to include widespread access to clinical trials, leading-edge treatments, and innovations in cancer prevention and early diagnosis.
