Dr. Sharmila Makhija joins as Founding Dean & CEO for Alice L. Walton School of Medicine, which plans to build on conventional medicine with a whole-person approach to care. A surgeon and gynecologic cancer expert, Dr. Makhija brings academic, clinical, and business experience, and a commitment to enhance medical education and train compassionate physicians of the future.
