Lurie Children’s Heart Center welcomes internationally renowned heart surgeon and researcher David Winlaw, MBBS, MD, FRACS as its Division Head of Cardiovascular-Thoracic Surgery and Surgical Co-Executive Director. Dr. Winlaw joins Lurie Children’s from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and University of Cincinnati, where he served as Associate Director in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Professor of Surgery.
