Blake Bulloch, MD, has been named Chief Medical Officer at Phoenix Children’s. Dr. Bulloch is a world-class physician leader and will continue the health system’s longstanding legacy of quality improvement and outcomes. He will also lead patient safety and quality efforts. Dr. Bulloch joined Phoenix Children’s in 2002 and has served as division chief of emergency medicine since 2012. He has also served as president and vice president of the medical staff and currently chairs the Phoenix Children’s Medical Group Governance Council. As he steps into his new role, Dr. Bulloch will continue treating patients to ensure he stays close to patient-family care and understand how best to support Phoenix Children’s medical staff. Dr. Bulloch earned his medical degree at University of Manitoba, completed a pediatrics residency at Children’s Hospital Winnipeg, and completed fellowships in pediatric emergency medicine at Cincinnati Children’s and Children’s Hospital Winnipeg. He is board-certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and General Pediatrics.
