    Deb Gage is a proven business transformer, having built her career as an entrepreneur founding and leading health care technology companies, including operational and leadership experience in start-up and growth businesses in the analytics, financial and clinical sectors of health care IT. She was an early team member at Truven Healthcare (then MEDSTAT), and then became CEO of several venture-backed healthcare IT firms including SolutionPoint®, Inc., a provider of database management and decision support software products for hospitals and integrated delivery systems; GTESS Corporation, a SaaS-provider of claims automation solutions for health care payers; and RosettaMed (acquired by Kryptiq), an electronic medical record patient intake application.

    Now, as president and CEO at Medecision, Deb oversees the company’s mission to lead the digital transformation of healthcare through consumer engagement solutions that help health plans and care delivery organizations manage and care for their members, patients and caregivers.

    Under her leadership, Medecision has transformed from its beginnings as a powerful care management workflow engine for health plans, into a market-leading provider of big data, visualization, workflow and engagement solutions, as noted by Gartner and IDC. Recently, Medecision acquired GSI Health, a SaaS provider of workflow, engagement and compliance solutions and related services. The company’s Health Coordinator platform is used by some of the nation’s leading health systems to coordinate and optimize value-based care for more than one million beneficiaries, often operating under Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) programs.

    Rick Koloski
    Group SVP
    Medecision

    Rick Koloski is an accomplished technology executive recognized for his engineering expertise, creativity, and drive. In his role as GSVP, Engineering & Architecture at Medecision, Rick leads a multi-faceted team of software engineers, developers, technologists, technology project managers, data scientists, and technology leaders to design and deliver the company’s technology solutions, bringing agile technologies and methods into complex enterprise environments.

    Rick joined Medecision through the acquisition of the company he founded, TrueNorth Technology Solutions, which enabled the rapid delivery of custom business technology solutions via the company’s revolutionary approach to creating and launching SaaS business applications. His prior experience includes senior technology architecture roles at Cendant and RCI, part of the Wyndham Worldwide Group.

    Known for his ability to build, mentor, and guide high performing software engineering teams and businesses, Rick brings a culture of learning, growth, and continuous improvement to Medecision.

    Terri Steinberg, MD, MBA, FACP
    CHIO Population Health
    ChristianaCare

    Dr. Terri Steinberg is the Chief Health Information Officer and Vice President of Population Health Informatics at ChristianaCare, a large multi-entity healthcare organization in Delaware. She has lectured and consulted extensively on methods to ensure successful technology adoption by physicians and nurses, on the positive impact of technology on safe medication practice, and on the use of technology to drive Population Health management. As a clinician as well as a software developer, Dr. Steinberg has used her experience to guide the optimal implementation of clinical systems in a manner that is well-accepted by doctors and nurses.  Dr. Steinberg currently devotes much of her time to population health IT, to provide innovative technology services to ChristianaCare’s care management company, CareVio. 

    Dr. Steinberg led the development of the IT platform for ChristianaCare’s Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) award that led to the technology-enabled prediction analytics care management platform for CareVio.  She continues to innovate in population health technology using various data sources for new methods to segment populations.   Dr. Steinberg’s experience includes tenure at Siemens Medical Solution, where she participated in the early development of the Soarian clinical suite of applications. She has consulted on technology matters for the Institute for Safe Medical Practice and has worked with many hospitals and healthcare organizations as they endeavor to implement advanced clinical systems.
