Modern Healthcare’s 50 Most Influential Clinical Executives awards and recognition program honors individuals who are paving the way to better health through their executive responsibility, leadership qualities, innovation, community service and achievements inside and outside of their respective organizations.

February 5, 2024 - Nominations opened
April 15, 2024 - Nominations closed
June 10, 2024 - Honorees published online and in MH magazine
Eligibility
Nominees must carry an executive title of senior vice president or higher. Nominees must be or have previously been a licensed clinician working within the healthcare industry.
Judging Criteria
Nominations will be reviewed and judged based on the following criteria:
• Actions the nominee took in the past year to help the organization achieve or exceed financial, operational and clinical goals, and the measurable results that were recorded
• Examples of how the nominee has improved community health, address sector-wide challenges and otherwise influenced the healthcare industry at the local or national level
Required Materials/Documentation
A current resume and head shot is required for submission. Supporting documents are not required, but they are encouraged. Up to five supporting documents may be uploaded to the online application. Supporting documents may consist of letters of recommendation, articles in which the nominee has been featured, etc.
Fee
To submit a name for consideration, there is a nomination fee of $200, which must be paid upon submission. Nomination and payment do not guarantee inclusion in this honor roll. Multiple nominations for one individual do not influence the process in any way.

Modern Healthcare’s editorial staff will select the honorees based on the judging criteria provided above.
Yes, you may nominate multiple individuals from your organization. Each individual you choose to nominate requires a separate submission process and a separate nomination fee of $200.
No, multiple nominations for the same person will not influence the selection process in any way.
The honorees will be notified of their selection the week of May 13, 2024. The notification will include an embargoed press release template and information regarding licensing, congratulatory ads, awards and certificates.
No, we will not notify those who are not selected as honorees.
