Four care sites formerly operated by Intermountain Health's shuttered multispecialty physician group Saltzer Health are under new ownership.
Boise, Idaho-based Saint Alphonsus Health System has acquired Saltzer's Ten Mile Ambulatory Surgery Center in Meridian, Idaho, along with two urgent care centers, according to a Monday news release.

Nampa, Idaho-headquartered Saltzer Health officially closed March 29 after facing financial struggles from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The surgery center has remained open, however, under Saint Alphonsus, a subsidiary of Livonia, Michigan-based Trinity Healthcare. Saltzer employees of the center in good standing will stay hired if they pass a background check and meet pre-employment screening requirements, said a Saint Alphonsus spokesperson.
The two urgent care centers in Meridian and South Nampa, Idaho, are slated to reopen in May after new information technology equipment is installed, the health system said Monday.
Additionally, Intermountain Medical Imaging in Boise has closed a deal to purchase Saltzer Health Imaging, which is housed in the same Ten Mile Medical Campus as the surgery center.
Intermountain Medical Imaging, which is not affiliated with Intermountain Health, plans to hire several Saltzer employees and open as early as April 8, CEO Wayne Baldwin said Tuesday.
Intermountain Health, Saltzer, Intermountain Medical Imaging and Saint Alphonsus declined to comment on the financial terms of the deals.
