Intermountain Health has closed Saltzer Health after failing to find a buyer for the network of multispecialty clinics.
Nampa, Idaho-based Saltzer is still in talks with organizations about purchasing some of its health services, the provider said in a Friday statement.

Saltzer announced in January that it would close March 29 without a buyer. It struggled to bounce back from financial challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, a news release at the time said.
The physician group provided primary care, urgent care, sleep treatment and ophthalmology services, with 10 locations in southwestern Idaho. It originally opened in 1961, according to its website, and was acquired by Salt Lake City-based Intermountain in 2020.
"We have been in constant communication with patients to ensure they can continue their care with as little disruption as possible," the Saltzer statement said. "Caregivers and patients will be informed about those changes once they are finalized."
Spokespeople for Intermountain and Saltzer did not respond to questions about how many patients and employees would be affected by the closures.
