Health Catalyst to buy cybersecurity company
Analytics company Health Catalyst signed a definitive agreement to acquire cybersecurity provider Intraprise Health for roughly $43 million. The parties expect the deal to close by the end of the year, according to documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

General Catalyst’s HATCo to buy Summa Health
General Catalyst’s Health Transformation Company has signed a definitive agreement to buy Summa Health for $485 million, the organizations said Thursday.
The purchase price combined with Summa’s current cash will allow the Akron, Ohio-based health system to pay off its debt, which is around $850 million. With the leftover money, Summa Health CEO Dr. Cliff Deveny said the company will launch a separately governed community foundation to support healthcare in the surrounding region.
California hospital joins Alameda Health System
St. Rose Hospital in Hayward, California, became an affiliate of Alameda Health System, with AHS as the hospital's sole statutory member. St. Rose will operate as an independent, nonprofit community hospital with an AHS-appointed board of directors, a spokesperson said. No layoffs are planned as a result of the transaction.
Pacs Group acquires operations of 8 facilities in Pennsylvania
Skilled nursing facility operator Pacs Group closed its deal to acquire the operations of eight facilities in Pennsylvania through subsidiaries.
Pacs Group subsidiaries will own the real estate of four of the facilities, with the remaining four leased from real estate investment trust CareTrust REIT. The deal involves nearly 1,200 skilled nursing beds, according to a Monday news release.

Novant Health completes UCI Medical purchase
Novant Health completed its purchase of BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina's UCI Medical Affiliates, a company that manages and provides administrative services for urgent care centers and physical therapy facilities.
The acquisition includes 52 urgent care centers and 20 clinics across South Carolina that are part of UCI Medical subsidiaries Doctors Care and Progressive Physical Therapy, according to a news release. Financial details were not disclosed.
