Attorneys general from 22 states along with the American Medical Association and Planned Parenthood have filed lawsuits aiming to block the Trump administration from cutting off Title X funding to clinics that perform abortions or make referrals for them. Planned Parenthood, which accounts for roughly 13% of Title X-funded health centers, cares for about 41% of patients seen through the program. Title X grantees argue that they’ll face significant challenges if funding is curtailed.
