June 12: How is vertical integration affecting healthcare competition? That’s the question the Senate Judiciary Committee’s antitrust subcommittee will ask in a hearing Wednesday. Three professors and one consultant will testify on how the moves affect physicians, insurers and even pharmacists.
June 12: Rounding out a busy Wednesday on the Hill, the House Ways and Means Committee will discuss how the country could move toward universal health coverage.
