Sustainability and social responsibility are topics of increasing importance in healthcare industry boardrooms. In 2022, more than 100 organizations signed the White House and Health and Human Services Department’s Health Sector Climate Pledge to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Health systems have also demonstrated a growing commitment to advancing health equity and diversity in their workforces. However, most remain in the early stages of translating commitments into actionable ESG strategies.
Modern Healthcare’s ESG: The Implementation Imperative Summit, June 12 to June 13 in Chicago, will bring together health system executives and industry leaders to share strategies for taking the crucial next step–enacting enterprise-wide environmental, social and governance initiatives that make a positive impact on their organizations and communities.
