Nominations close Monday for Modern Healthcare’s 50 Most Influential Clinical Executives awards program.
The awards honor leaders with medical backgrounds who are advancing clinical, operational and financial goals at their organizations. Winning individuals also have a track record of addressing industrywide challenges and influencing the business of healthcare at a local or national level.
The awards program is open to current or former clinicians in leadership positions at any healthcare or healthcare-related organization, including but not limited to hospitals, health systems, physician groups, post-acute care organizations, insurance companies, digital health startups, medical technology companies, investment firms, vendors, think tanks and suppliers. Researchers and public policy officials are eligible, but nominations must reflect the real-world impact of their work.

Who is eligible for the 50 Most Influential Clinical Executives awards?
The program is open to individuals who are currently or formerly licensed clinicians working in healthcare. Nominees must carry an executive title of senior vice president or higher.
Can I nominate more than one person from my organization?
Yes, you may nominate multiple individuals from your organization. Each nomination requires a separate submission process and a separate nomination fee of $200.
Can I nominate someone who previously was honored?
Yes, individuals can be repeat winners. Nominations should include updated accomplishments and quantifiable results from the past year.
Will multiple nominations for the same person influence the selection process?
No, multiple nominations for the same person will not influence the selection process in any way.
Who picks the award winners?
Modern Healthcare’s editorial staff will select the honorees.
When will honorees be notified?
We will notify the 50 honorees the week of May 5. The notification will include an embargoed press release template and information regarding licensing, congratulatory ads, awards and certificates.
Will I be notified if the person I nominated is not selected?
No.
