Nominations close Monday for Modern Healthcare's Innovators Awards, which recognize those implementing creative strategies to achieve gains in quality, affordability, accessibility, sustainability and equity.
The 2024 awards offer opportunities to honor individuals and organizations leading transformation.

What are the Innovators Awards?
The awards recognize individuals and organizations driving initiatives that improve efficiency and health outcomes, while contributing to clinical and financial goals. The best ideas address untapped needs or find new ways of tackling longtime challenges.
The program will honor those whose work has led to demonstrable, measurable results for their organizations, patients and communities while improving the industry. Judges will consider candidates' overall body of work, as well as accomplishments from the past year, when making their selections.
Who is eligible?
Organizations across all industry sectors (such as providers, payers, pharmacy benefit managers, technology companies, vendors and suppliers) are eligible. Researchers and public policy officials are eligible, provided that their work has led to measurable impact.
Individual nominees must serve in a director-level role or above. Please use that as a guide; we understand that titles can vary by organization.
Previous years' Innovators Awards winners are eligible to be honored again.
How much does it cost to nominate?
The nomination fee is $200. You may nominate an organization and an individual from that entity, or multiple individuals from the same organization, but each must be a separate entry with its own nomination fee. Payment does not guarantee inclusion as an honoree.
What nomination materials are required?
The nomination form asks for a summary of initiatives launched by the nominee as well as quantifiable results, with relevant data cited. Nominations for innovative organizations should include a description of how a team or organization came together to be innovative and the quantifiable clinical or financial results of specific projects. Answers to each question are limited to 150 words.
A current CV, resume or bio and headshot are required for individual nominees. An up-to-date, high-resolution environment or portrait-style photograph of the organization's facility or leadership team is required for organizational nominees.
Nominators are encouraged to submit up to five supporting documents—such as letters of recommendation, articles or case studies—that speak to the nominee’s innovation and measurable impact.
When is the nomination deadline?
Nominations for the 2024 Innovators Awards must be submitted by Feb. 12 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
When will honorees be notified?
The honorees will be notified of their selection March 11. The notification will include an embargoed press release template and information regarding licensing, congratulatory ads, awards and certificates.
Those who have not been selected will not be notified.
When will the honorees be announced?
The list will be published April 8 on ModernHealthcare.com. Honorees will also be recognized in the April 8 issue of Modern Healthcare magazine.
Does Modern Healthcare provide feedback on submissions?
Modern Healthcare does not offer feedback regarding nomination forms or the honoree selection process.
