The nomination deadline is approaching for Modern Healthcare's Best in Business awards, which honor the vital work of vendors, suppliers and other partners that are driving healthcare forward. Our award program recognizes their exceptional contributions, innovation and dedication to improving patient care and operational success.
Nominations are open and will be accepted through Friday, Oct. 4.
What is the Best in Business awards program?
Modern Healthcare has created a new program to recognize the vendors, suppliers and partners that work with hospitals and health systems, payers, government agencies and other key players in healthcare. These companies play an instrumental role in improving the healthcare ecosystem.
The program is designed to celebrate those organizations providing vital products or services that lead to quantifiable improvements in care quality, outcomes, efficiency, experience and/or innovation.
What types of healthcare organizations are eligible?
Entry is open to all healthcare suppliers and vendors. We’re looking for organizations and companies that demonstrate excellence across 22 categories.
What materials are needed for an entry?
All data and materials considered for any category must represent the period between Jan. 1, 2023 and July 1, 2024. All information included should be publishable by the time the winners are announced in December.
How are the honorees selected?
Our panel of judges includes leaders and innovators from top healthcare organizations, associations, industry bodies and retired executives. Their collective experience ensures a fair, comprehensive and unbiased evaluation of each entry. Judges assess submissions based on predefined criteria: quality, outcomes, efficiency, customer focus and innovation.
There is a separate submission form for each category. For each submission, we ask for general information about the organization/company, examples of how the organization demonstrates excellence in the given category, and an overview of how the work impacts customers, including patient outcomes.
