With backgrounds as physicians and nurses, the members of Modern Healthcare’s 50 Most Influential Clinical Executives class of 2024 bring years of experience to their leadership roles. They use their critical insight and expertise to serve the needs of patients and support care team colleagues on the front lines. They also help shape short- and long-term strategies to promote the health and well-being of their communities.
Some of these leaders have created innovative programs to address clinician burnout and improve recruitment and retention efforts for nurses and other caregivers. Others have launched behavioral health initiatives or played instrumental roles in creating specialty care collaborations. Modern Healthcare uses the title of “Dr.” only for those who have completed either a Doctor of Medicine or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
