Women helping chart the industry's future will arrive in Chicago next month to share insights, challenges and strategies at Modern Healthcare’s Women Leaders in Healthcare Conference, Aug. 9 to Aug. 11.
The event will bring together women and allies from across the healthcare sector and is focused on developing skills and relationships that help women grow and advance in their careers.

The event will be held at the Hilton Chicago, 720 S. Michigan Ave., near Grant Park.
When is it?
The Women Leaders in Healthcare Conference will take place Wednesday, Aug. 9, to Friday, Aug. 11. It begins with a welcome reception on Aug. 9 at 5 p.m. The agenda for Aug. 10 starts with a morning meditation and networking breakfast, followed by presentations and panels from 9 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. The conference continues Aug. 11, with sessions from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Modern Healthcare will host an awards gala Aug. 10 from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. to celebrate the 2023 Top Women Leaders honorees.

The agenda features experienced and emerging women leaders in healthcare, as well as male allies committed to sponsoring women and advancing gender equity in the industry.

What topics are on the agenda?
Sessions will address overcoming imposter syndrome; how to find balance as a primary earner in a household; steps to fix the gender gap in leadership teams; tools to best engage employees in a post-pandemic world; and how to get a seat on a corporate board, among other topics.
