Medical image company secures $33M
PocketHealth, a medical image exchange company, announced it raised $33 million in a Series B all-equity funding round led by venture capital firm Round13 Capital. Professional services company-associated fund Deloitte Ventures and Samsung Next, an investment arm of Samsung Electronics, participated, along with existing VC investors Questa Capital and Radical Ventures.

The company, which offers a secure platform for providers to exchange diagnostics images with patients and other clinicians, uses AI to provide patients with personalized insights and improve understanding of their health.
It said in a news release the funding will help it double its workforce over the next two years and more fully implement artificial intelligence technology, among other goals.

Wearables company gets $35M
Ultrahuman, a company that sells health monitoring devices and wearables, said it raised $35 million in a Series B funding round.
Venture capital firms Blume Ventures, Steadview Capital and Nexus Venture Partners participated. The company said in a news release it would use the funds for additional manufacturing capacity and investments in health tracking research.
Lightfully Behavioral Health nabs $20M
Lightfully Behavioral Health, a hybrid in-person and virtual behavioral healthcare company, announced it raised an additional $20 million in funding.
Regal Healthcare, a healthcare-focused private equity firm, led the round. The capital will help Lightfully continue to build digital capabilities and open three additional clinics in California this year, according to a spokesperson. The company currently has 14 California locations, with plans to expand to additional states by the beginning of next year, the spokesperson said.
The round brings the company’s total raised to $50 million.
