Talkspace has entered agreements with Tricare East and West regional contractors to provide in-network virtual therapy services to an estimated 9.5 million military members and their families.
The contracts are the latest expansion for the telehealth company, which began offering its services to Humana Military members in August. In the past year, Talkspace also has signed contracts with Amazon, the American Federation of Teachers and Charlie Health.

Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
"This is part of a longer path that was charted a few years ago when we expanded our payer relationships and even relationships with other enterprises [such as] municipalities, school districts [and] large employers," said Erin Boyd, Talkspace's chief growth officer in an email.
As part of its agreement with Tricare, Talkspace will work alongside Military Brands, which owns MyBaseGuide, a digital resource distributed to active-duty military personnel, civilians and their families who live and work on a military base. The company also will be a founding member of a new Military Brands support group for military spouses that is in development.
