Talkspace is partnering with three other behavioral health providers to broaden in-network access to specialty care and treatment programs.
The consortium, which includes Charlie Health, Ria Health, and Bicycle Health, will increase options for specialty behavioral health services for alcoholism, substance abuse and eating disorders, the company said. Talkspace will refer insured members to the other providers.

“We know it is important for our payer partners to keep their members in-network, as they strive to provide them affordable access to the support they need to thrive,” Erin Boyd, chief growth officer for Talkspace, said in a Monday news release. “With the introduction of this consortium, we are better enabling our members to stay in-network for their specialty care needs, all within their Talkspace member experience.”
The launch continues a trend for Talkspace of partnering with organizations. The company teamed up with Wheel Health, another virtual care company, and has partnered with consumer health companies Oura, Bicycle Health and women's health-focused Evernow. Last month, Talkspace CEO Dr. Jon Cohen said partnerships are preferred but the company is open to acquisitions.
