Vivante Health, a digestive health startup, raised $31 million in a Series B funding round on Wednesday.
The company offers a digital digestive solution to employers and health plans. Enrolled members of Vivante are given access to dietitians, nurses and health coaches through a virtual platform.
Salt Lake City-based health system Intermountain Health's venture arm was one of the investors in the round. Venture capital firms Mercato Partner, 7wireVentures, Distributed Ventures, Human Capital and SemperVirens also participated.

The company said in a release that funding will support technology upgrades along with growing its commercial and client support teams. Vivante operates in all 50 states and employs 87 people fulltime.
Vivante Health’s platform provides personalized care plans to users that adjust based on symptoms and diagnosis. It serves patients with conditions ranging from irritable bowel syndrome to colorectal cancers.
With this latest round, Vivante Health has raised $57 million. It received $16 million in a Series A round in late 2021.
This is the latest example of investor interest in gut and digestive health. In August, gut health digital diagnostics company Viome received $86.5 million in a Series C funding round. Viome has developed multiple diagnostic tests for gut and oral health, which are meant to inform a user’s diet and lifestyle decisions.
