Fujifilm Healthcare Americas Corporation said Monday it will integrate Us2.ai's artificial intelligence software into its Lisendo 800 cardiovascular ultrasound.
The software automates echocardiogram analysis and reporting by providing cardiac measurements along with diagnostic insights based on international guidelines.

Echocardiography is the standard method for imaging the heart, but exams can take between 40 and 90 minutes, plus reporting time, and require highly trained operators, of which there is a shortage, Fujifilm said in a news release.
A study published in the Journal of Echocardiography in February 2024 found the Us2.ai software significantly reduced measurement and report creation time.
Other medtech companies have recently integrated AI technology into their devices. GE HealthCare is partnering with Nvidia on AI-enabled autonomous X-ray and ultrasound scanners and Johnson & Johnson MedTech’s new robot navigation technology uses Nvidia’s AI software.
