Amazon is adding virtual musculoskeletal health company Hinge Health to its Health Condition Programs, the companies said Thursday. The programs allow users to input information about their insurance plan and potentially identify covered services such as Hinge’s virtual physical therapy.

When Amazon customers search for products related to back, joint or muscle pain, they could be shown advertisements for Hinge Health’s programs and have an option to check their eligibility for the company’s services, according to a news release. If an individual's insurance covers Hinge or another affiliated service and they're interested, Amazon will send that person to the third-party to complete the enrollment process.
Amazon, first announced its Health Condition Programs in January with digital chronic care management company Omada Health. The company later added virtual mental health companies Talkspace and Rula to the program.
In June, Amazon consolidated its healthcare businesses and rebranded it as Amazon One Medical.
Hinge Health has raised more than $1 billion in venture capital funding and some analysts say the company is primed for an initial public offering.
