Long recognized as an influential healthcare leader, Bowen took on the role of president and CEO of the American College of Healthcare Executives in 2013. There, she has focused on advancing industry excellence and helping those at the top reach their full potential. She serves on the board of the American Hospital Association-affiliated Institute for Diversity and Health Equity and is the president of the International Hospital Federation Governing Council.
