Diversity Leader Organizations - 2024

Texas Oncology offers care through more than 280 locations, including 55 comprehensive cancer centers, throughout Texas and southwestern Oklahoma.

Under board and executive leadership, Texas Oncology:

• Created a senior manager position to spearhead diversity, equity and inclusion efforts across the organization.
• Formed a diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging council through a company-wide nominations process, in addition to a committee including top officials.
• Conducted a statewide employee listening tour and twice-yearly surveys to gauge worker sentiment about issues such as diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Worked toward advancing clinical research that is representative of diverse populations, including through a joint venture creating a research institute.
• Is in the planning and development phase of creating a strategic roadmap for diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging efforts spanning the next two years.
