SSM Health comprises 23 hospitals, more than 650 physician offices and other outpatient services, 12 post-acute locations and home care and hospice services. The nonprofit system also owns a pharmacy benefit company, a health insurance company and an accountable care organization.

Under board and executive leadership, SSM Health:

• Fostered nearly two dozen inclusive talent partnerships, resulting in a 40% increase in the number of team members of color among leaders and professionals compared with January 2021.
• Launched social determinant of health screenings for maternal care patients last year.
• Spent $57.4 million with diverse suppliers in 2023, exceeding goals.
