Diversity Leader Organizations - 2024

Sinai Chicago includes four hospitals, 17 community clinics, a community institute and a research institute serving the city’s South and West sides.

Under board and executive leadership, Sinai Chicago:

• Rolled out action plans aimed at promoting diversity and representation throughout the organization, resulting in an increase of employees of color living within primary service areas.
• Carried out more than 1,000 hours of cultural competence and bias trainings for leaders involved in hiring.
• Created gender transition guidelines.
• Trained more than 600 community health workers through the Sinai Urban Health Institute.
