Stepro spearheaded development of the next-generation data platform at Arcadia. The technology uses artificial intelligence to identify utilization patterns, develop care plans and document risk factors for providers, payers and other clients. Accountable care organizations participating in the Medicare Shared Savings Program that used the platform earned $279 million in MSSP bonuses in 2022, according to the company. In 2023, Stepro reorganized Arcadia’s research and development vertical, with the goals of improving collaboration, innovation, speed and quality. He also led development of the company’s AI innovation principles to support responsible use of AI tools.
