Diversity Leader Organizations - 2024

Loma Linda University Health, an academic medical center, operates six hospitals and a physician practice company. It also owns multiple clinics and is affiliated with several international organizations.

Under board and executive leadership, Loma Linda University Health:

• Boosted recruitment efforts, including by hosting job fairs, creating a student loan repayment program and partnering with local colleges to develop a pipeline program for diverse candidates.
• Held implicit and unconscious bias trainings for senior employees.
• Expanded its community health worker program to include hospitals and two school districts through its Institute for Community Partnerships.
