Jennifer Mensik Kennedy

Mensik Kennedy works alongside the ANA’s executive team and boards to shape the profession and future of nursing. She has established strong relationships with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle with an eye toward supporting the association’s long-term policy goals. Under her leadership, the ANA has boosted its membership to more than 200,000 members, with revenue increasing accordingly: The association’s net assets grew 10% to $13.2 million during its most recent fiscal year. Mensik Kennedy has played a key role in the development of a new multimillion-dollar initiative aimed at fostering innovative ideas and improving patient care. She has also committed to dismantling racism in nursing, with the ANA furnishing $300,000 in grants to support evidence-based antiracism work.
