Abraham has worked to further 21 strategic partnerships and joint ventures to boost services and access at the 17-hospital, Houston-based health system. These include collaborations with an urgent care provider, a major home health and hospice business and an analytics company. He also helps drive the strategy for a joint venture with United Surgical Partners International, through which Memorial Hermann co-owns more than 20 ambulatory surgery centers. His efforts have also led to the creation of 37 strategic equity partnerships and investments that expand the system’s financial and operational footprint. He co-leads the Memorial Hermann Innovation Hub, aimed at overcoming clinical, administrative and operational hurdles.
