Roberta Waite
Trinity Health
Waite has spent nearly a decade on Trinity Health’s board and is the incoming dean of the Georgetown University School of Nursing, starting this July. She has served on and chaired a number of Trinity board committees, helping the health system make gains in clinical quality, safety and health equity. Waite helped spearhead expansion of community health and well-being programs, such as those focused on food and housing insecurity, as well as community outreach with pop-up vaccination clinics and education campaigns during the COVID-19 pandemic. She also has been instrumental in assisting Trinity’s hiring efforts, helping set aggressive goals to change the diversity of leadership. For the first seven months of the system’s current fiscal year, 70% of the senior leadership positions filled (vice president and above) were diverse hires.
