Sisisky has been on Baptist’s board since 2007, holding a number of roles throughout his time on its financial committees. As board chair, he assisted with the hiring of a new chief financial officer, the creation of a matching gifts program for endowment giving that raised over $150 million and a community wellness partnership with the Jewish Community Alliance. For his many achievements, Sisisky, president of the consulting firm Shircliff & Sisisky Co., was recognized by the Florida Hospital Association, which named him Trustee of the Year in 2015. In his past five years as chair, Sisisky helped Baptist Health earn “Leader” status in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s annual Healthcare Equality Index, a national LGBTQ benchmarking tool that evaluates healthcare facility policies and practices related to equity and inclusion.
