Dr. Denice Cora-Bramble
Chief diversity officer, Children's National Hospital
Cora-Bramble established the Washington, D.C.-based hospital’s diversity, equity and inclusion program in 2021, using a data-driven approach to address staff well-being and potential health inequities. Her initiatives to date, carried out in collaboration with Children’s National team members, include launching an employee bias reporting system and leading the development of a mentorship program for medical students, residents, fellows and faculty. She was previously the first Black woman to serve as chief medical officer of ambulatory and community health at Children’s National.
