Kimball last year led the negotiating team for HMFP, the physician practice affiliated with Boston-based Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, in discussions leading to creation of the planned Dana-Farber Beth Israel Deaconess Cancer Collaboration. The entity intends to build a new cancer hospital for adults. Also in 2023, as president of Physicians Performance LLC, an independent physician association serving nearly 2,500 providers in eastern Massachusetts, Kimball oversaw the addition of Mount Auburn Cambridge Independent Physician Association, bringing another 290 providers into the organization.
