Neal-Walden spearheads the development and implementation of clinical practice guidelines and shapes mental health, psychiatry, substance use, case management and clinical training strategy at the organization, which operates 24 clinics focused on post-9/11 veterans, active duty military members and their families. In 2023, she helped launch clinics in Los Angeles and Oklahoma City and worked to nearly triple the number of the network’s clinical fellows. She also serves as the steering committee chair of CVN’s diversity, equity and inclusion committee.
