Women Leaders in Healthcare - 2024

Adamolekun—who joined Greensboro, North Carolina-based Cone Health in 2021—serves on the senior executive team driving its strategic priorities. Under her leadership, Cone implemented paid parental leave and flexible work policies. In fiscal 2023, it achieved record-high employee engagement survey participation rates and scores. As part of an effort to support workforce well-being, Adamolekun is partnering with the University of Illinois-Chicago Center for Healthy Work to assess the five-hospital organization’s culture through the lenses of social needs, socioeconomic status, gender, race and ethnicity.
